The Origin of Our Recipe Book
Sometimes something great starts very small. A few loose dishes, a few notes, a few conversations about how we wanted to cook: simpler, purer, more balanced. When we began with Metabolic balance, we realised how important it was to have dishes that truly suited us — warm, honest, uncomplicated, yet flavourful and beautiful.

Zappa assisted us from the beginning. Every recipe we created was refined, rewritten, and documented together. From that daily routine, something larger gradually emerged: a collection that was not only functional but also personal. Dishes that pulled us through tough days, provided structure, and brought calm. They demonstrated that good food is not a punishment, but an anchor.
And so it naturally became a recipe book. Not conceived at a table, but developed along the way — in our kitchen, in our conversations, in that rhythm between health, creativity, and life that continues to unfold.
This book is precisely that: a compilation of everything we have created together. Honest, warm, truly ours — and hopefully soon a little bit yours too.

In addition to the recipe book, our Dining Out Guide also emerged: a list of places where we could dine without stress, even in the midst of Metabolic Balance. Restaurants that cook purely, simply, honestly, and with enough options to continue enjoying within our schedule. A small guide, but for us a valuable anchor in weeks where structure and balance were central.
