Ingredients
- —1 round of soft goat cheese (70 g)
- —1 fresh fig, sliced
- —1 teaspoon honey
- —1/2 ripe pear, coarsely grated
- —1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- —15 g roasted pecans, roughly chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Place the goat cheese in a small glass baking dish.
Slice the fig into thin slices and arrange them on top of the cheese.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is soft and lightly golden.
Cut the half pear into very thin, long slices.
Remove the dish from the oven and arrange the pear slices around and partially under the warm goat cheese in the dish.
Drizzle a thin stream of honey visibly over the cheese.
Sprinkle with roughly chopped roasted pecans.
Finally, add a few drops of apple cider vinegar over the pear slices.
Serving Tip
Soft, melted goat cheese with a delicate honey glaze, balanced by the refreshing grated pear and a hint of apple cider vinegar. The fig and roasted pecans add depth and an elegant crunch — a refined lunch with harmony. Serve straight from the oven so the cheese melts beautifully and contrasts with the fresh pear and crunchy nuts.
Storage Tip
This dish is best enjoyed fresh. Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 day and briefly reheated.
