Tzatziki with Dill

Ingredients

  • —1 small tub of full-fat (goat) yogurt (±400 g)
  • —1 cucumber, grated
  • —Juice of 1 lemon
  • —10 g fresh dill, finely chopped
  • —1 tsp salt
  • —½ tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Grate the cucumber and squeeze out the moisture thoroughly using a cloth or sieve.

  • Mix the yogurt with lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper.

  • Add the cucumber and stir well.

  • Let the tzatziki rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.

Preparation time: 10 minutes + 30 minutes resting = ± 40 minutes total

Serving Tip

Delicious with chicken shawarma, grilled vegetables, or as a refreshing dip for raw veggies. Serve in a bowl with some extra dill or a few drops of olive oil on top. Optionally, add a thin slice of lemon for color and freshness.

Storage Tip

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, well covered. Stir before serving.
