Steamed Salmon with Broccoli & Zucchini

Ingredients

  • 150g salmon fillet
  • 200g broccoli, cut into florets
  • 100g zucchini, sliced into half-moons
  • 1 lemon slice + extra for serving
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Splash of water for the pan

Instructions

  • Bring a pan with a small layer of water to a boil and place a steaming basket on top.

  • Place the broccoli and zucchini in the steaming basket and steam for 4–5 minutes.

  • Then place the salmon on top of the vegetables.

  • Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and a slice of lemon.

  • Steam everything together for another 8–10 minutes until the salmon is tender and just cooked through.

  • Carefully remove the salmon and vegetables from the basket.

  • Sprinkle the lemon zest over the top and serve with extra lemon.

Serving Tip

Delicious with fresh dill or parsley on top.

Storage Tip

Keeps for up to 1 day in the fridge, but best enjoyed warm.
