
Ingredients
- —140g cod fillet
- —150g leek, thinly sliced
- —1/2 lemon (1 slice + extra for serving)
- —Salt and pepper to taste
- —Splash of water for the pan
Instructions
Slice the leek into thin rings.
Bring a pan with a small layer of water to a boil and place a steaming basket on top.
Spread the leek in the steaming basket and place the cod on top.
Season the fish with salt and pepper and place a slice of lemon on top.
Steam the fish for 8–10 minutes until tender and translucent.
Carefully remove from the basket and serve with extra lemon for freshness.
Serving Tip
Sprinkle with some finely chopped dill or parsley for extra aroma.
Storage Tip
Best enjoyed immediately; do not reheat.
