Shrimp with Garlic, Lemon, and Herbs

Ingredients

  • 150–200 g raw shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parsley or cilantro, finely chopped
  • Small splash of water for cooking

Instructions

  • Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat a small splash of water in a pan.

  • Add the garlic and let it soften briefly.

  • Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through.

  • Add the lemon zest and lemon juice, then toss to combine.

  • Garnish with parsley or cilantro.

  • Serve immediately.
