Ingredients

  • 150 g sauerkraut (well-drained)
  • 100 g potato (cooked and sliced)
  • 1 small carrot or piece of leek, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

  • Layer the potato, sauerkraut, and vegetables in an ovenproof dish.

  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with pepper and nutmeg.

  • Bake for 20 minutes until the top is lightly golden.

Air fryer option: 170 °C (340 °F) – 15 minutes

Serving Tip

Serve in a small ovenproof dish with the layers visible. Garnish with a bit of fresh parsley or dill for color and freshness.
