- —150 g mushrooms, sliced
- —1 small onion, finely chopped
- —1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- —150 ml water or low-sodium broth
- —1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in a little water (optional for thickening)
- —Salt and pepper
- —Parsley or thyme (optional)
Instructions
Sauté the onion and garlic briefly in a small splash of water until softened.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes.
Pour in the water or broth and bring to a boil.
Let it simmer gently for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
Optionally thicken the sauce with cornstarch for a creamy texture.
Season with salt, pepper, and herbs of your choice.
