
Ingredients
- —1 Leksands Knäcke Seeds & Sea Salt (triangle)
- —1 matjes herring fillet, cut into thin strips
- —1 teaspoon yogurt (full-fat, goat, or sheep yogurt)
- —1 teaspoon lemon zest
- —A few sprigs of fresh dill
- —Pepper to taste
Instructions
Slice the herring into thin, elegant strips.
Mix the yogurt with the lemon zest.
Spread a very thin layer of yogurt on the Leksands cracker (the cracker should remain clearly visible).
Lightly arrange the herring strips on top.
Garnish with a few sprigs of dill.
Add a pinch of pepper and serve immediately.
Serving Tip
Also delicious with a thin slice of cucumber, but don't overdo the toppings.
Storage Tip
Eat immediately for crispness; bring the herring separately if taking it to-go.
