Italian Salad with Mozzarella, Tomato, and Basil

Ingredients
- —60 g mozzarella (buffalo, goat, or sheep variety)
- —80 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- —A handful of fresh basil leaves
- —1 tsp olive oil
- —½ tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice
- —Pepper, salt
Instructions
Cut or tear the mozzarella into pieces.
Arrange the tomato, mozzarella, and basil on a plate.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Season with pepper and salt to taste.
Serving Tip
Delicious as a light lunch or side dish with fish or vegetables. Serve on a white plate with the ingredients loosely arranged. Garnish with an extra basil leaf and a few drops of olive oil just before serving.
Storage Tip
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Add oil and vinegar just before eating for the best flavor.
