Ingredients

  • 200 g cream cheese at room temperature
  • 170 g soft goat cheese
  • 100 g grated Gruyère
  • 50 g sliced almonds, lightly toasted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 150 g pomegranate seeds

Instructions

A classic with a festive twist: creamy, fresh, and rich all at once. This cheese ball comes together in minutes and instantly feels like Christmas.

  • Mix the cream cheese and goat cheese until smooth, then stir in the grated cheese,

  • add the almonds, parsley, and thyme, and season with salt and pepper,

  • shape the mixture into a firm ball and roll it completely in the pomegranate seeds,

  • Let the cheese ball chill in the refrigerator for at least twenty minutes.

Serving Tip

This cheese ball looks best on a simple platter with crunchy crackers on the side.

Storage Tip

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to five days, keeping the pomegranate seeds separate if possible.
