Chicken with Asparagus in Light Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • —150 g chicken breast
  • —200 g green asparagus
  • —1 clove garlic
  • —1 tbsp flour
  • —100 ml chicken broth
  • —50 ml white wine
  • —1 tbsp lemon juice
  • —1 tsp paprika powder
  • —pinch of salt
  • —pinch of black pepper

Instructions

A warm and flavorful dish where tender chicken and green asparagus come together in a fresh, light sauce with lemon and garlic.

  • Cut the chicken breast into equal pieces

  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika powder

  • Lightly dust with flour

  • Heat a pan and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through

  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside

  • Cut the asparagus into pieces

  • Briefly sautĂ© the asparagus in the same pan until tender-crisp

  • Add garlic and sautĂ© briefly

  • Deglaze with a splash of white wine and let it reduce

  • Add chicken broth and lemon juice

  • Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer briefly until the sauce thickens slightly
