Broccoli with Lemon Butter and Thyme Breadcrumbs

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1–2 Leksands crispbread crackers, finely crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Pepper and sea salt to taste

Instructions

- Cook or steam the broccoli for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.

- Melt the butter with the lemon zest, lemon juice, and thyme.

- Toast the crumbled crispbread briefly in olive oil until crunchy.

- Season the broccoli to taste.

- Drizzle the lemon butter over the broccoli.

- Sprinkle with the thyme breadcrumbs and serve immediately.

Serving Tip

Serve the broccoli in a deep bowl and spoon the warm lemon butter over it. Fresh, soft, and crunchy all at once — this side dish elevates any meal.

Storage Tip
