Basil Cream

Ingredients

  • 100 g yogurt (goat, sheep, soy, or full-fat yogurt 3.5%)
  • 1 generous handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1–2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Pepper and salt

Instructions

  • Place the yogurt in a bowl or small blender.

  • Add basil, garlic, and lemon juice.

  • Blend or puree until smooth and creamy with a vibrant green color.

  • Season with pepper and salt to taste.

  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serving Tip

Delicious as a dip or a refreshing topping for vegetables, fish, or wraps. A fresh, soft basil cream with yogurt and herbs — light, pure, and perfect as a topping or dip.

Storage Tip

Keeps well for 2 days in the refrigerator. Stir before use.
