- —1 large apple (e.g., Elstar or Jonagold)
- —1 portion of almonds with sunflower seeds
- —(Soak these overnight in cold water)
- —½ tsp cinnamon
- —1 pinch of cocoa powder
Instructions
Soak the almonds and sunflower seeds overnight in cold water.
Drain them the next day and blend the mixture into a coarse paste.
Mix in the cinnamon and cocoa powder.
Remove the core from the apple and fill the center with the nut mixture.
Place the apple in a small baking dish.
Bake 20–25 minutes at 180 °C until the apple is soft and the filling is slightly crispy.
Air fryer option: – Preheat to 170 °C – Bake for 15–18 minutes
