Ingredients

  • —1 carrot or small beet (sliced thinly)
  • —1 tsp olive oil
  • —Sea salt
  • —Paprika powder or rosemary

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 160 °C (320 °F). Wash the vegetables and slice them paper-thin (using a mandoline or sharp knife) to ensure even baking. Toss the slices with olive oil and seasoning. Place them on parchment paper and bake for 20–25 minutes until crispy. (Air fryer: 150 °C (300 °F) – 12 minutes.) Let them cool on kitchen paper to make them extra crunchy.

Serving Tip

Delicious as a crispy snack or as a topping for soup.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days; they stay crispiest at room temperature.
