Ingredients
- —80 g smoked salmon (finely chopped)
- —½ avocado, diced
- —1 tsp lemon juice
- —1 tsp olive oil
- —½ tsp lemon zest
- —½ tsp fresh dill or chives, finely chopped
- —Pepper, salt
- —(Optional) some arugula or sprouts for garnish
Instructions
Dice the salmon and avocado into small cubes and mix them in a bowl.
Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, zest, herbs, pepper, and salt to create a light dressing.
Gently fold the dressing into the tartare, keeping the pieces intact.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve using a ring mold or stack loosely on a plate.
Serving Tip
A light, refreshing tartare packed with healthy fats — perfect as an appetizer or lunch. Serve the tartare with a drizzle of herb oil on the side and top with fresh dill or sprouts. For extra freshness: add a lemon wedge or some arugula on the side.
Storage Tip
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day, covered. Serve chilled — but not ice-cold — to let the flavors of the salmon and lemon shine.
