Ingredients

  • 80 g smoked salmon (finely chopped)
  • ½ avocado, diced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp fresh dill or chives, finely chopped
  • Pepper, salt
  • (Optional) some arugula or sprouts for garnish

Instructions

  • Dice the salmon and avocado into small cubes and mix them in a bowl.

  • Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, zest, herbs, pepper, and salt to create a light dressing.

  • Gently fold the dressing into the tartare, keeping the pieces intact.

  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.

  • Serve using a ring mold or stack loosely on a plate.

Serving Tip

A light, refreshing tartare packed with healthy fats — perfect as an appetizer or lunch. Serve the tartare with a drizzle of herb oil on the side and top with fresh dill or sprouts. For extra freshness: add a lemon wedge or some arugula on the side.

Storage Tip

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day, covered. Serve chilled — but not ice-cold — to let the flavors of the salmon and lemon shine.
